EasyPro TB-Series High Head Pumps

What Is the EasyPro TB-Series Pump?

The Easypro High Head Pump TB series offers commercial-grade submersible pumps. These units are built for high-head waterfalls.

They suit large koi ponds and skimmer setups. Four models range from 7,800 GPH to 14,500 GPH. They provide reliable water movement every day.

These units excel when vertical lift exceeds 20 feet. Standard pumps often fail at these heights. This series ensures a consistent flow rate.

The series features premium Japanese double mechanical seals. These seals offer an endurance of 100,000 hours. Each unit includes a 20-foot cord.

Built-in thermal overload protection prevents overheating. These pumps run submerged 24/7. They are a great investment for pond professionals.

Features of the Easypro High Head Pump TB

1. Japanese Double Mechanical Seals

These pumps use premium Japanese double mechanical seals. This is the gold standard. The dual-seal design blocks water from the motor cavity.

This extends motor life to 100,000 hours. These seals withstand hard water in the Pacific Northwest. They are more durable than ceramic seals.

2. True High Head Performance

This series is for applications needing significant vertical lift. The TB14500 reaches 72 feet. The TB12000 handles a 60 foot vertical lift.

They power tall waterfalls that stall standard pumps. Note the minimum operating TDH is 20 feet. Use a ball valve for any shorter pump runs.

3. 3-Inch Outlets for High-Volume Flow

Every model features a 3-inch outlet. This is often triple the size of standard pumps. It reduces pipe friction loss over long distances.

Large outlets maintain a strong flow to your spillway. This is vital when the pump is 15-30 feet from the waterfall. It ensures max output.

4. Built-In Thermal Overload Protection

The built-in protection cuts power if the motor gets too hot. This prevents burnout during summer. The system resets once the motor cools down.

5. Continuous Duty Rating

These are rated for 24/7 nonstop operation. The sealed motor allows full submersion. This is vital for koi ponds needing constant oxygen flow.

6. 2-Year Limited Warranty

EasyPro provides a 2-year limited warranty. This doubles the industry standard. The 20-foot cord simplifies placement inside a pump vault.

Plumbing Recommendations

• Match the outlet with a minimum 3-inch pipe diameter to reduce restriction.
• Ensure the pump is always submerged in a skimmer basket or pump vault.
• Install a ball valve on the discharge line to protect the motor if head is under 20 feet.
• Avoid sharp 90-degree elbows; each one adds about 5 feet of equivalent head loss.
• For 230V models, ensure the circuit is grounded and rated for the amp draw.
• Clean the inlet strainer every 2-4 weeks to maintain optimum flow.
• Consult the EasyPro TB-Series Pump Manual for performance curve charts.
