Oase

Oase started in 1949 as a small workshop in Germany repairing agricultural machinery, not building pond equipment. The company built its own agricultural pumps first, then moved into fountain and underwater pump technology through the 1960s, adopting the Oase name in 1969. Decades of engineering work followed, and today Oase makes pumps, filters, UV clarifiers, skimmers, and aeration equipment for everything from a small backyard pond to public fountains and estate lakes.

In the pond and water garden line, the AquaMax pump series and BioSmart and BioTec filters are the products most contractors and pond owners run into first. The company's German engineering background shows up in the build quality: sealed housings, efficient motors, and components designed to run for years without much attention.

In 2018, the Oase Group acquired Atlantic Water Gardens, bringing German filtration engineering together with Atlantic's skimmer and waterfall hardware built for the North American market. That relationship is why you'll often see Oase filtration paired with Atlantic plumbing components on the same pond.
