STANDARD PROCESSING TIME:
We know how important it is to receive your items fast and try our absolute best to process orders same or next business day. Typical cut off time for same day shipping is 1pm (Pacific Time)
Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. That said, If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
RUSH PROCESSING TIME:
If you have a rush order that you are trying to get out, please contact us and let us know and we will do everything in our power to prioritize your order at the top of the list. Email us at email@example.com
PLANTS SHIPPING: Plants are shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY. Orders placed on Wednesday thru Sunday are shipped the following week. Plants are shipped via FedEx 1-3 day delivery method ONLY (regardless of the shipping method selected during check out.)
AQUATIC PLANTS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY FROM NOVEMBER THRU MARCH OF EACH YEAR.
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO CONTACT US TO CONFIRM THE AVAILABILITY BEFORE PLACING YOUR PLANT ORDER DURING THESE MONTHS.
Few things to remember pertaining to Bare Root plant orders
*Damage can occur when plants are left in the sun, or all day on a porch in hot weather. If possible, have them shipped to an address where they can be cared for immediately, or provide special delivery instructions for where a carrier can leave them in the shade. Open the box immediately upon receiving your plants, and put them in a cool shaded spot. Plant ASAP, preferably the same day, keeping them cool and moistened until they are in the pond or in the ground. Roots should be given special attention to prevent drying.
SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY ESTIMATES:
All Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We have several options available:
Standard Shipping: typically 5-10 business days. Typically Free for 'Hardgoods' Purchases greater than $99.00 within the Continental United States (Excludes; Plants, Liner Rolls & Motor Freight Items) and (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands)
Freight: Cost varies based on availability and weight. Please contact us for a custom quote. We do not upcharge for quotes and will work to get you the best rate. If shipping by LTL/Motor Freight, an optional liftgate is available for purchase ($150.00 extra). Pre packaged "Kit items" that are shipped directly from Manufacturer's facility via LTL Freight are subject to a weight based Order Processing Charge.
**Waterfall Kits, Decorative Water Features, and some other items, that can only be shipped via Motor Freight are typically exempt from Free Shipping Policy. Contact us for a freight quote before placing the order.
Expedited Shipping: 2-7 business days.
International Shipping: Typically 10-14 business days.
As with any company, Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
Inventory is taken and is kept as up to date and true as possible. If an item that has been ordered is out of stock, a notification will be sent out immediately to remedy the problem.
Back orders are not allowed on items that are out of stock.
SHIPMENT TO PO BOXES or APO/FPO ADDRESSES:
Puget Sound Ponds ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION & ORDER TRACKING:
You will be emailed a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24-48 hours. We also offer regular shipping updates through Facebook Messenger as requested during checkout.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES:
Puget Sound Ponds is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Puget Sound Ponds is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. Please contact us, if you’d like to add insurance to your shipment. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
UNABLE TO DELIVER AS ADDRESSED/FAILURE TO DELIVER:
Any items returned to us “unable to be delivered as addressed” when the label matches what we were provided when ordering will have our original shipping costs, plus return shipping costs deducted from the refund. Reshipment will require payment of both the initial shipment, return shipment, and new shipment fees (shipping one way, three times). This could be due to the service used not delivering to that location or a bad address from a customer. Please be sure to check with your customers prior to placing the order to avoid such a mishap.
While we primarily ship within North America (US & Canada) we do ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you have international shipping needs for a custom quote. We leverage DHL which requires a signature for all International shipments. For international shipments, All local regulations, Fees, Taxes, and/or fines are the sole responsibility of the buyer and not Puget Sound Ponds.
