What is the OASE AquaMax Eco Classic?

The AquaMax Eco Classic is a submersible pond pump of synchronous electronic type which is able to handle solids and is designed to be placed at the bottom of the pond to directly transport dirty water to an external filtration system. It is available in four different rates of flow: 1,200, 1,900, 2,700, and 3,600 GPH. It achieves an energy saving of up to 40% compared with similar pumps. The pump is equipped with dry-run and clog protection, both automatically activated by the so-called Environmental Function Control (EFC). It also falls within the OASE Clear Water Guarantee when used with an OASE filter and UV clarifier of the right size.

Thereafter, the pump shall restart automatically once the condition comes back to normal. No manual reset is required.

Large Wrap-Around Pre-Filter — Passes Solids up to 3/8"

The pre-filter of the cage style wraps the complete pump body, having a large effective intake surface area as compared to the small intakes of the end cap. This allows coarse particles such as fish waste, leaf fragments, and algae mats to 3/8 inch (approximately 8 mm) to pass through the pump and go straight to the filter, rather than clogging the impeller. The in-line pre-filter cage is fully removable.

Coated Magnetic Rotor for Challenging Water Conditions

In ponds with high mineral content or acidic water, and those that have elevated dissolved organics, which is quite common in well-stocked koi ponds, the uncoated rotors will corrode prematurely. This is a coated magnetic rotor of AquaMax Eco Classic which resists corrosion as well as chemical degradation, therefore maintaining consistent performance across varying water chemistries without requiring frequent replacement of the impeller.
