Hikari IntestiPro Powdered Treatment

IntestiPro^® is a powdered formula that was developed to offer the hobbyist an effective way to treat intestinal worm issues suffered by their pond, freshwater or marine fishes.

Directions

• ROLL THE BOTTLE ON A FLAT SURFACE BACK AND FORTH FOR AT LEAST TWO MINUTES BEFORE USE
• Bath treatment method is recommended for protozoan-caused intestinal issues. 
• Rinse or replace mechanical filtration media if needed. Do not completely stop filtration. Remove any activated carbon from filters.
• Use one teaspoon per 20 gallons of water every three 3 days to produce a concentration of ~5 mg/L of Metronidazole and ~2.5 mg/L of Praziquantel.
• Before retreatment, be sure to change at least 30% of your water

• If no improvement is noted within six (6) days, discontinue treatment and consider other options.

Oral Treatment

• Oral treatment method is recommended for systemic (internal) infections.
• IntestiPro^® can be fed mixed with fish food or used as part of a prepared food.
• Feed at least twice daily the amount your fish will completely consume within a few minutes (no more than 5 minutes).
• Continue feeding for at least three days beyond the disappearance of all signs of the disease you initiated the treatment for. Stop feeding this food once a cure is affected, and NEVER use the medicated feed as a general food when disease treatment is not being attempted.
• Never use prepared medicated food that is more than 10 days old.

CAUTION: Avoid skin and eye contact. Avoid ingestion. If swallowed call your physician or poison control center immediately. In case of eye contact immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention. In case of skin contact, wash with a mild soap and warm water.
