Needle like, segmented. An evergreen version of the Horsetail Rush, bears evergreen, twisted hollow stems. Spreads rapidly over moist soil and may take some time to adjust planting in water. Very branched, almost fernlike foliage. Sun or shade. Grows to 12".
Grow in moist soil with a minimum of water over the plant to avoid swamping the plant.
