What distinguishes Aquascape AquaForce solid handling pond pumps from a typical pond pump?

Unlike standard submersible pumps that often clog, Aquascape AquaForce solid handling pond pumps use an asynchronous motor. While magnetic-drive motors lose efficiency at height and struggle with debris, the AquaForce maintains torque at greater heights, uses fewer watts for the same flow, and can handle solids up to 1/4" in diameter without clogging. Additionally, it is completely oil-free, ensuring it is safe for fish and plants.

How do these solid handling pond pumps prevent clogging from fish waste and debris?

The Aquascape AquaForce is specifically designed to move solids up to 1/4 inch in diameter through its housing without getting stuck. It features a pre-filter protective cage that blocks large debris from reaching the impeller while allowing smaller organic matter to flow through, meaning you won't have to clean it multiple times a season.

Is it safe to use this pump in a koi pond with sensitive fish and plants?

Yes, the motor is completely oil-free. This design ensures there is no risk of oil contamination in your water, keeping your koi, goldfish, and aquatic plants safe regardless of how long the pump runs.

Will this pump be more expensive to run than my current mag-drive pump?

Actually, the AquaForce uses an asynchronous motor that draws less wattage and maintains higher torque at head height compared to traditional magnetic-drive pumps. Many pond owners find they save a noticeable amount on electricity over a full pond season.

Product Description

Maintain crystal clear water with high-quality solid handling pond pumps. These units ensure your water feature stays clean.

Standard pumps often clog if your pond has fish waste. The Aquascape Aquaforce Solid Handling Pumps solve this common problem.

These units move solids up to 1/4 inch without getting stuck. This design allows for efficient debris removal from your pond floor.

Using an asynchronous motor, Aquascape Aquaforce models move more water. They use less electricity than old magnetic drive designs.

Whether you need a small pump or a large koi setup like the Aquascape Aquaforce 5200, there is a model for every single pond job.

Why Aquaforce Pumps Perform Better

Standard mag-drive pumps lose efficiency as height increases. Aquaforce Pumps use asynchronous motors to maintain high torque.

The ceramic shaft includes a cooling port to stabilize temperatures. This allows for long operation without any risk of the motor overheating.

The motor is oil-free. This means no risk of contamination to your fish. This safety is why Aquascape provides a 3-Year Limited Warranty.
