How the AquaMax Eco Premium Works

Pumpchamber Solids Handling

In surface-mounted pumps, the pre-filtration protects the impeller. With the AquaMax Eco Premium, the impeller is directly protected by passing solids through the pump. Pond water plus debris (leaves, fish waste, etc.) enter from the pre-filter intake point, go through the pump, and then out to your biological or pressure filter. This feature is what gives freedom from blockages to the users of regular pond pumps.

The Pulse 6 synchronous motor gains its efficiency by having more magnetic poles in the rotor. It also reduces electrical resistance and heat generation. Together with the SFC circuit, which monitors water temperature and automatically adjusts flow speed, the pump will self-optimize across all four seasons: at full power in the summer and backing off in the winter when fish metabolisms slow and less filtration turnover is needed.

Installation Guide

Submersible (default)

Place the pump on the pond floor with the pre-filter wrap attached. Route discharge tubing to your external filter.

Inline

Remove the pre-filter wrap, attach the included mounting bracket, and plumb the pump inline between your pond bottom drain and filter.

Secondary Inlet

A secondary inlet that is adjustable can be connected to a pond skimmer or bottom drain for dual-intake operation.

App Control (optional)

Pair the OC port with an Oase Eco Control or Garden Cloud Controller and you can change all the settings from the comfort of your armchair, using the Oase Control App.
