PondMAX Clear Water Pump & Filter Kits

A PondMAX Pump and Filter Kit is the simplest way to filter a pond. Instead of piecing together a pump, a UV filter, hose, and hardware separately, everything ships in one box and is sized to match your pond. Each kit pairs a pressurized filter with built-in UVC clarification and a filtration/waterfall pump, then adds 25 feet of non-kink hose, stainless steel hose clamps, and a free bottle of PondMAX Bactimax Clarifier Bacteria to help the water clear up faster after setup.

Kits range from the CW750 for smaller water gardens up to the CW7200 for larger koi ponds. Pick the model below that matches your pond's size and fish load.

Find the Right Model for Your Pond

PondMAX sizes each kit two ways: the gallon capacity for a shaded pond with no fish, and the (smaller) capacity once you add fish and full sun. Fish waste and algae growth from direct sunlight both add to the filter's workload, so a pond that holds koi in an open, sunny yard needs more filtration capacity than the same size pond in the shade with no fish.

No-Fish vs. Fish/Full-Sun Ratings

If your pond sits in a shaded spot and won't house fish, size the kit to the larger "no fish/shaded" gallon number. If you're stocking koi or goldfish, or your pond gets a lot of direct sun, size to the lower "fish/full sun" number instead — that's the rating that accounts for the extra bioload and algae pressure. When in half sun with fish, it's usually safer to round up to the next model size.

Built for Low-Maintenance, Clear Water

Pressurized Filter with UVC Clarifier

The filter runs under pressure, which lets you plumb it into a waterfall or stream instead of hiding it in a skimmer box. The built-in UVC clarifier breaks down free-floating algae cells as water passes through, which is what actually clears up green water — mechanical filtration alone won't do that.

Filtration / Waterfall Pump

Each kit is matched with a pump sized to move enough water through the filter and back out to a waterfall or return line, based on the GPH figures in the table above. Matching pump flow to filter capacity is what keeps the UV clarifier effective — too fast and the water passes the UV bulb without enough exposure, too slow and turnover drops.

Hose and Hardware Included

You get 25 feet of non-kink pond hose sized to the kit's model, plus four stainless steel hose clamps to secure the connections at the pump and filter. There's no need to separately source hose, clamps, or fittings before you can run the system.

Free Bactimax Clarifier Bacteria

Every kit ships with an 8 oz. bottle of PondMAX Bactimax, a natural clarifier bacteria that gives the biological side of your filtration a head start while the pump and UV filter handle the mechanical and optical clean-up.

Setting Up Your PondMAX Kit

The kit is designed to be plumbed as a single loop: pump in the pond pulls water to the pressurized filter, the UVC clarifier treats it, and it returns to the pond or waterfall through the included hose.
