Mounting and Maintenance Hints

• Place the pump on a solid, flat surface above the waterline; preferably in a place protected from direct rain.
• Use the provided union fittings to join 2-inch or 3-inch plumbing without making any cuts into the pump housing.
• Inspect the strainer basket, which is visible through the clear lid, on a weekly basis during the growing season to keep debris from impeding the flow.
• On 1.5 HP and larger models, a licensed electrician should hardwire the unit to a dedicated 230V circuit.
• Match the impeller to your system's actual head height for the best balance of flow and energy consumption.
